A boro boy: connections with nature (2)
Out and about I'm listening to baby sparrows in the eaves of houses demanding food from their parents. The blooming woodland floors are again filling with wild garlic and a hint of bluebells. Fantastic time of the year, you can find some more information about an ancient woodland indicator plant species the wood anemone here.
Beginning April with anticipation of the book launch, It's been quite busy with the launch and getting it to the right places for it to be put out there. A Boro boy: connections with nature released on the 14th April and I've done a few pieces to the media including BBC Radio Tees. I'm working to get more people to know about it but it can be found on almost everywhere - on this website here , online and in local bookshops around Teesside & North Yorkshire.
Lastly for this month I am launching a crowd funder in May with a link follow (here) and this is to allow the website to keep on adding stock and to hopefully bring in our own subscription McGowan Realm boxes which are focused on sustainable living. It will help get you products such as toothbrushes, washing up liquid and toilet roll when you need without the added cost of delivery so hopefully it will work out a tiny bit cheaper than buying separately. Help spread the word!
