Rainy days

30/05/2021 At McGowan Realm I've been setting up the new website on a different platform to make plastic free shopping with us that bit easier, after some feedback.

Our crowd funder is still live, we've been pleased with the response from people. If you want to keep an eye on things or pledge towards us growing our range you can find the link here

For June we have another regional brand joining the shop and we've just introduced plastic free sanitary products in the last week, as well as limited time only, Father's day gift box hampers.

If you haven't done so, join our newsletter which is going to be once a month. A new addition with this new website, which can be found at the bottom of the page to be involved. It will only be one email per month which can give you a heads up on new products, new blogs and news from our family business at McGowan Realm.

The end of May has just stopped the mini rainy season. Across the UK the colder and wetter month has had an impact with slower new signs of spring going into summer. If we get a more settled period we could expect to see lots of new life. I'm enjoying seeing all the fresh green hedgerows and trees coming back to life. The Oak trees are pumping life into leaves of tiny purple, rusted colours into large green leaves. The swallows are a welcome sight but now the swifts have returned, the skies are filling with screams again in the towns and gardens. Let's make the most of being able to explore further than last spring.
